Sept 23, 2022 - What a wonderful Gala! Together with supporters registered from 25 countries, we were inspired by the stories and incredible work of our newest partners in Guatemala, Colombia, India, and Sierra Leone, and celebrated how Mona's global community of changemakers is spreading the HOPE of education to more and more children.

THANK YOU! We are thrilled to share that the Gala raised $370,280 and counting towards our $425K goal. Our heartfelt appreciation goes out to each one of our supporters who gave with their hearts to support our work. Our special gratitude also to Rainn Wilson, Parisa Fitz-Henley, Laura Herrick, Paul Flowerman, and to our hardworking and selfless partner organizations who made the Gala a truly inspirational gathering.

Your outpouring of support for our partner's Fund-A-Needs was especially heartwarming. In addition to specifically designated donations to different projects, your Gala donations will provide:

• 138 K-3 scholarships to GyanSetu One-room schools, India
• 9 K-12 scholarships to Ruhi Arbab and Simmons Schools, Colombia
• 1 K-12 scholarship to Mona supported schools in Haiti, Panama, or Brazil
• 7 Youth Leader scholarships to FUNDAEC's Supporting Community Leaders program, Colombia
• 2 College Scholarships for young women, Study Hall Educational Program, India
• 11 scholarships to educate and empower rural young woman at Barli Institute, India
• Training for 3 educators at MAIA Impact School, Guatemala
• Arts program for 200 students at Badi School, Panama
• 1 month internet access, MAIA Impact School, Guatemala
• 2 GyanSetu One-Room Schools for students in urban slums or rural villages, India
• Training for 1,200 students, tutors, and teachers in FUNDAECs program on "Strengthening Community Life & Local Economies."
